Hello everyone. It's been ages since I last wrote a blog post, because I have been quite ill the past two weeks. I wanted to get this post up at the very beginning of this month, but I literally couldn't. I won't bore you with the details.
Anyway, I had a few ideas for 'alternative' Valentine's Day prints/cards and I did these for fun a few weeks ago. I've decided to put them in my society6 store in case anybody wants a copy. They were all created on thick watercolour paper, with a black ink pen and watercolours. Later, they were scanned and some text was added to them. Also, I decided to play around with different colour variations - I have more on my store.
Love is in the air, wear a mask!
The idea behind this one is rather simple. It's for the people who are single or just simply don't care about this day. I belong in this category, since I've always been single on Valentine's Day, and I don't particularly care about it.
D'you wanna watch 50 Shades of Grey with me this Valentine's Day?
Here's a more 'sexy' print. Basically by asking someone to watch 50 Shades with you, things might heat up and something could happen. Who knows what the night will bring?
I love you, you little monster.
Lastly, we have a more traditional, cute illustration about a couple that loves each other no matter how crazy the other person might be.
I hope you like these little illustrations. My skills might not be very good, but I just felt like doing them and sharing them with you.
