Hello everyone! I'm sorry this post gets published on Sunday instead of Saturday, but I was very ill yesterday. Even though I'm not feeling that good, I've managed to get this post ready. It's my last blog post of 2012!
Today I'm sharing a couple of new items that I have received as gifts! My best friend recently came back from England for the holidays and when we met on Thursday she gave me some things from Primark. First thing I saw when I opened my present was a cream coloured, see-through Atmosphere shirt. It is high-low in length and 100% Polyester. Also, it has a black collar and buttons. This 12 sized loose shirt is an absolute favourite of mine that can be dressed up or down.

Moving on to an even more exciting piece of clothing. A black top with a sweetheart neckline that meets a sheer black fabric on the shoulders. In addition, it has tiny, circular, silver studs and you should all know that I adore studs (I have a stud tutorial in mind)! It emphasises the waist with the fabric flowing away from it. Do you know what this is called? Oh wait a minute! It's called peplum! I've seen many tops and dresses with this trend, but I wasn't sure it would suit me. Turns out my fears were wrong. Like the previous shirt it is a size 12, but this one could've looked better on me if it'd been a smaller size.

Hello everyone! For the last couple of days I've been struggling with organising my wardrobe and I have sort of finished it today. I thought you might be interested to see my newly organised closet, so here it is. It might help you with your closet, somehow.
Well, it's Christmas time and I think all of my post should have those Christmas lights, I just love them!

There is no before picture simply because it would be a traumatic experience for your poor eyes! I had a lot of stuff and I tried to throw as much as possible (I will give my unwanted clothes to charity). There was no room in there even for a mosquito!
So, to the left we have a white organiser from Ikea, in which I store the majority of my skirts (I'm not really a skirt person), some winter appropriate dresses and cardigans, among with the few hoodies I own. On the top sections I put my leggings and gloves. I know it might not seem very tidy, but I don't mind.
Next to that I have some thin cardigans, jackets, dresses, tops, skirts and shirts hanging. Underneath, I decided to put my trousers, sweatpants and shorts.
Inside the right door I have all of my tops. Starting with the most summer appropriate on the top and moving down to the last shelf which has my jumpers.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well. Today, after decorating our Christmas tree at home, I felt like blogging about something related to the upcoming holidays and I decided to go for nail varnish. Tonight's blog post is on my top 11 nail varnishes for winter and the holidays. You may think eleven is a big number, but I have different shades and different finishes for different tastes. So let's take a closer look at them!

Starting from left to right we have one of my favourite polishes from China Glaze called Solar Flare. You might have seen me use this before. It has gold particles that are medium to big in size, in a clear lacquer. For this product, it would be best if applied with a base colour underneath.

Moving on to a shade that I have actually blogged about, a while ago. The so originally named Purple from Leciel Paris. This is a perfectly balanced purple. Not too red, not too blue. I just love it!
Saturday, 8 December 2012
Yes people, I am alive! I know I haven't posted anything for ages, but had I known university would be so demanding, I would have thought twice before applying. Anyway, today I am bringing you a makeup haul from Gosh. I have been doing some clothing shopping too and you will see that soon.

I have been wanting to add a taupe nail varnish in my collection for a very long time and when I saw 602 Mystical from Gosh, it was love at first sight. This is a medium dark, cool toned brown with some purple shimmer. The picture doesn't do any justice to this gorgeous shade. This was 6.50 euro.

The next item is this gorgeous royal blue (darker than the picture), called 009 Cobalt Blue. I love blue and as soon as I glanced at it, I knew it was meant to be in my collection. I paid 4.60 for this one.

Lastly, I got a Velvet Touch Eyeliner in Funky Violet, which is a surprising wearable warm purple. I'm not sure for this one's price but it couldn't have been more than 9 euro.

Okay everyone, that will be all for today. Please bear with me until I finish my finals. Love you all and thank you for reading! Do you have anything from Gosh that you would recommend to me?
Tuesday, 20 November 2012
Hello everyone! Yes, I am still alive and fully aware of the fact that I haven't posted anything for a long time. You can not even begin to understand how busy I have been this month. It's my final month of university for the first semester and I have a billion of assignments, projects, coursework to finish. I think I'm going to blog about my uni project as soon as I finish with my exams in December. Also, I have been having some technical issues with my camera and my computer, hopefully they can get fixed soon.

This Tuesday's blog post is about two new items I bought from Bershka, yesterday. I really wasn't planning to go shopping or anything, but I thought I would check the shop out and I found this gorgeous ring at the counter. It's sort of a cool-toned golden bow and you know that I adore bows. As you can see from the picture below, the ring is made for two fingers and I've never had a ring with a similar concept before. This was under 7 Euro.
The map background is from a uni assignment
Moving on to a not so interesting purchase.

Hello everyone! Yes, I've done it again, I have been shopping!
I am a saver when it comes to money, but sometimes I just can't resist!
Everyone is talking about the Real Techniques makeup brushes and I have been wanting to get some for the longest time. I was in between the setting and the stippling brush. Evidently, I decided to go for the setting brush, shown in the picture above (it's a little bit dirty).
First Impression:
First, this brush is smaller than my expectations, but the size turned out to be ideal for its purpose, when I tested it. The bristles are very soft and I haven't noticed any ugly scents that some other brushes may have. As soon as I got the brush, I washed it with baby shampoo and its drying time was okay. I have yet to experience any shedding and I love that.
How I use it:
I have heard that this brush is great for applying highlighter and setting the under-eye area with powder. I personally have used it with my Mac Select Cover Up Concealer for my eye area, cheeks and chin on a day that I didn't felt like wearing foundation and it was amazing. Also, I set the concealer with a loose powder, using the same brush, with no disappointment. I have tried it with my Pearl Cream Colour Base from Mac and it was fine. Overall I have nothing bad to say, but I have just started using this brush. I paid 16 euro on Amazon and I am glad with my purchase. Now, I want the stippling brush!

Moving on to a very different buy of mine. Last Friday, my sister and I, visited the French Retail store called Carrefour. There I found some great deals, some boots were 50% off and I had to get something!

Hello everyone, I hope your week has been great! Today I uploaded this video on my youtube channel. It is a clothing and cosmetic haul. Products from Gosh and Urban Decay are shown along with clothes and accessories from shops like Primark, Bershka, Terranova and Stradivarius.

I think I have been doing a lot of shopping and I need to stop. The fact that my university is surrounded by the best shops doesn't help, though. Where have you been shopping lately?
What is shown in the video (briefly)?
A peachy-nude lipgloss, a base coat, a teal kohl pencil and a teal nail varnish from Gosh. The feminine palette from Urban Decay and two shirts from Primark. A pair of tan flats and light blue jeans from Bershka. Also, two dresses, two trousers and a top from Terranova. Lastly, a bow necklace, a taupe top and a black cardigan from Stradivarius. You might notice that some items have been previously featured in a blog post.
I hope you enjoy watching it and please don't forget to follow the blog and subscribe to my youtube channel.
Have a lovely weekend!

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well, unlike me. I have been feeling ill since Sunday night and I have missed two days of uni. I was unable to prepare for a proper good blog post, like my last post, so I am bringing you a face of the day kind of post.

I wasn't wearing this makeup today, but on Friday when I was filming a collective haul video for my youtube channel. Since I couldn't think of anything else to post, I decided a FOTD is a good idea. It's been a while since my last fotd post.
So, what am I wearing in this photo?

Introduction:
Good morning everyone! I hope your day started better than mine, because my sister woke me up telling me that she heard noise and someone was in the house. We never found who it was, I'm not even sure that there was someone to find. Anyway, you don't care about that, you are here for this palette review. Also, I am sorry guys for posting this on Saturday and not Friday, but I was so tired yesterday. So, for this Saturday's blog post I am going to be talking about The Bare Palette from Sigma Beauty.

Overall:
I bought this palette a year ago, around the time when they launch it along with the Dare Palette and the Flare Palette. I don't own the other palettes, but they could be a great addition to my collection at some point. I decided to go for Bare because I was lacking some basic, neutral shades for everyday and of course the double ended brush was an amazing bonus! I do not regret buying this palette and I have been using it a lot more than what I expected. Each time I am doing my makeup and I don't know what to use on my eyes I go for this product. You can create very dark and gothic looks, but also very neutral and natural eyeshadow combinations.

Hello everyone! How was your week?
Today, I gave myself a little manicure and I have decided to share a Nails Of The Week blog post with you. The colour of my choice was a product you might recognise from a previous haul. It's the 032 Splish Splash Oh My Gosh Nail Lacquer. At first I was hesitant, I thought this shade wouldn't suit my skin-tone, but I love it now. It's a great teal colour.

Moving on to the items used to achieve this simple nail design. For my base coat I used a Gosh one, the 565 Fix Base Coat, which was also shown in that haul post with Splish Splash. For my main colour I used two coats of Splish Splash. Since a previous Oh My Gosh nail lacquer that I've used, Light Nutmeg, was incredibly sheer, I was surprised that this one wasn't. It can be perfect with just one coat and it dries fast. In addition I think the brush is pretty good. For my ring finger I've applied three round, medium sized, black rhinestones, using a toothpick. I bought the wheel from eBay. To seal the rhinestones I applied two coats of OPI Top Coat and one coat to the rest of the nails. The first time I applied this top coat, I didn't like it and now I am kind of obsessed with it!

I believe there's nothing more that I want to add to this post. Thank you for reading and I hope you'll have an amazing weekend. I shall talk to you on Tuesday, bye-bye for now. Love, Gina.
Tuesday, 16 October 2012
Hello everyone! How are you? Today I had my multimedia midterm exam and after that I decided to treat myself with a little shopping spree. So now I have a haul for you!

This item is so amazingly adorable! I absolutely love it! It's from Stradivarius and around 8€. Also, I purchased a black cardigan similar to the one I showed in my clothing wishlist which was 16€ and Medium sized. The last item I got from Stradivarius was a taupe, loose top which was 13€. Initially I picked up the Medium sized one, but it was enormous! So I bought the Small one. Moving on to Terranova. I bough this top that has a leopard or cheetah print, I really can't tell which is which! The top costed me 8€ and I also bought a teal pair of trousers. They're so soft that they feel like leggings, but a lot thicker. These were 16€ and both clothing items are a size small. I think I am going to get another pair of those trousers in a different colour and probably a medium size.

I am very pleased with the stuff I bought! I am thinking of filming a collective haul, since I have been making small purchases so often. What have you bought recently? Do you like any of the items shown?

Thank you for reading. I shall talk to you on Friday :)
Friday, 12 October 2012
Hello my beautiful angles! I've missed you! You have no idea how much studying I have been doing, and frankly I am beginning to question whether I should be in Uni in the first place. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be fine after my mid-term exams.

For this Friday's blog post I shall be talking about my first lipstick from Mac, which is Myth. Well, I wouldn't call this product a favourite of mine. I don't think it looks good on pale people like me. It really depends on how it's applied. One day it can look great and the next it could be completely unflattering.
I remember the day I bought this product, it was two years ago. I was so tired and I just went into the Mac store and I asked for a nude lipstick. Everyone was following the nude lip trend and I wanted to try it. The lady swatched quite a few shades on her hand, and there was one that I liked. She cleaned it and gave it to me to test it. For some odd reason, I liked it on my lips at the store, I believe the lighting had something to do with that, considering it was twilight. So I paid 17€ for this and imagine my disappointment when I got home and tried it again. I though it looked horrible, like a dead, or ill person. Maybe the girl had given me the wrong colour. I guess we will never now. By the way the colour looks darker in the tube for some reason.
Tuesday, 9 October 2012
Hello my beautiful angels! Today I will be sharing with you the outfit I wore for Uni, today. I am thinking of making a weekly outfits video, with this one included. I have already filmed this outfit. The only problem is that on Monday, I hadn't worn anything but my pyjamas, because I was ill at home. You would have known that if you followed me on twitter!

Anyway, let's talk about what I am actually wearing here. My top is green, with button details and very old from Bershka. Because autumn is finally here, I have added a small, black cardigan from Stradivarius and a lovely, thin scarf that I have no idea where is from. Is this print a Leopard or a Cheetah? I really can't tell and Google isn't helping! My light-wash jeans are a recent purchase from Bershka and a complete bargain for €10! The last items that I am wearing are these white shoes from H&M. By the way, you may be able to see my socks, they're from Primark :)

In case you haven't noticed, this blog has been through a few changes the last week. Firstly I will not be posting new posts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday as I used to. Instead I am going to be blogging twice a week, because of my busy schedule. Tuesday and Friday are the new posting days. Also, have you noticed the new header and favicon? I created both myself and I'm proud!
What do you think about the changes? I am thinking of changing the layout of the blog, background, pages etc, to a simpler design, now that I am learning HTML at University.

That's all for today, and please bare with me when all the blog changes happen! Thank you for reading, bye :)

Hello my beautiful readers. How was your day?
For this Wednesday's blog post I shall be sharing some pieces of clothing that I really want to add to my wardrobe. I haven't added them either because I can't find them or they're just too expensive.

A Nude Leather Jacket is something that I have been wanting to buy for a year. I remember being torn between the choice of buying either the black or the nude faux leather jacket from Terranova, last year. I eventually decided to go with the black one and I do not regret my decision, but if I had a nude one too it would be awesome. I still have the image of Elena Gilbert in her nude leather jacket from the second season of The Vampire Diaries.

A Navy Blue Blazer is another clothing item that I want to get for fall / autumn and winter. To be honest, at the moment I don't own a blazer and I believe it would make a great addition to my collection. For some reason I want a navy blue one, I don't know why. However, a nude or ivory coloured jacket would also be good. I believe it's a bit challenging to find the perfect blazer. Some just don't fit right, you know what I mean, don't you?

A Simple Long Cardigan. Now, I know you are going to laugh at me, but I truly don't have a long cardigan , like the one shown in the picture above. I love cardigans and sweaters for this season. It would be awesome if the weather actually got colder. I am sick of my summer clothes.

A pair of Flat Boots is the last clothing item to be mentioned today. Again, you can see that I am actually lacking a lot of basics in my closet. I believe I have two other pairs, a black and a brown, but they have flaws. The brown ones are big for my feet, since my sister has given them to me and the black ones just aren't appropriate for rainy environments. I just want a good pair of everyday, flat boots for the colder months.

Thank you for spending your time on my blog! Do you have any fashion wish lists?
Monday, 1 October 2012
Hello everyone! I hope you have had an amazing weekend. Mine was so busy that I just feel exhausted and I have no energy for Uni tomorrow. I shall talk about that in a minute, but this post is on a recent Primark purchase. You see, my cousins from England came to Cyprus for my niece's christening and my cousin Natalie brought me these two shirts. If you have watched a video of mine on youtube, chances are you've heard me mention the fact that I am babysitting. That baby is my niece which is a 6 month old beautiful girl.

I was so excited when my cousin had given me these shirts, because I have been looking for similar styles of shirts here, but the few ones I found were too expensive. Since Nat forgot to remove the tags I can tell you the prices of them. The black with the ivory ballerinas costs £10.00, whilst the black with the pearls was €15.00. I have no idea why one price is in pounds and the other in euro.

Both of the shirts are a size 12 and fit me quite well. I have been gaining weight after graduation to be honest. Also, they are 100% Polyester and from Atmosphere. I love both of these shirts and I really can't wait for the weather to get colder so I can wear them, even though they're sheer. Seriously, it's 30 degrees Celsius and it's the 1st of October!

Oh, how I miss shopping in Primark! My mum and I go crazy in there! Hopefully I will be going to England in the following year.

What about you? Do you like shopping in Primark? When was the last time you've been there?

Friday, 28 September 2012
Hello everyone! I am terribly sorry for missing my Wednesday blog post, but you have no idea how busy I have been. I have Uni assignments and I also have to babysit, but anyway, you don't care about my life. For this Friday's post I will be sharing a small, collective haul.

Today I went to the Mall with my sister and we bought some Gosh cosmetics from BeautyLine. A nail varnish base coat called 565 Fix Base Coat that costed €6.50 and an Oh My Gosh  Nail Lacquer in 032 Splish Splash that was €4.60. Then my sister picked out a Velvet Touch Eye Liner in 001 Blue Moon, which I believe costs around 9 euro. The last Gosh item is a lip gloss in 0084, which I think costs less than 8 EUR.

Something else that I purchased was the Feminine Eyeshadow palette from Urban Decay found at http://www.thecosmetichouse.co.uk/ . I am so excited for this product, because it is my first purchase from this brand. A full review on this makeup palette is coming as well as a makeup look. In this palette you get six eyeshadows Stray Dog, Swf, Midnight Cowboy, Aquarius, Darkhorse and Ecstacy. Also, you get sample sizes of a 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero and an Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden.

Here you can see me wearing the Gosh Lip Gloss which is a bit sticky and you can feel some shimmery particles, but I really love the colour. This is as nude as I get before looking ill. On my lower lash-line I have the Blue Moon Eyeliner. The rest of my face is makeup free.
Thank you for reading my post and don't forget to follow my blog for more! Love, Gina :)

Monday, 24 September 2012

Hello everyone! I almost forgot that it's Monday today, and I wasn't going to post anything. Anyway, I recently bought two things from Bershka and I was debating whether I should blog about it. But then on Saturday, I went to this party and I had combined the two items in my outfit, so when I came home I decided to film an outfit video. One's a pair of light washed jeans that costed me 10Euro. Can you believe it, ten euro?! The other is a pair of plain, tan coloured flats that were 20 euro. As my top I added the short dress from my Marks & Spencer haul and added a tan belt with bow detailing from Ebay, that matched my shoes. In case the night gets cold I have a black cardigan with me. To finish my outfit I've added some gunmetal, blue pearl bracelets to my wrist, and that's it! I hope you liked my video and my blog post! What do you love wearing for fall / autumn?
Friday, 21 September 2012
Hello everyone and I hope you are all doing well! For my last blog post of the week I've decided to share with your beautiful souls my current go-to beauty products. These are the cosmetics that I have been using everyday to get ready in the morning for University. Let's start by saying how I want to look for uni. I want a routine that takes a couple of minutes and I really don't want to look like I'm wearing any makeup, especially since the other girls in my class don't look overdone.

I start by applying my Aloe Vera Day Cream from LR, because my skin is normal to dry and this moisturizer is amazing for dry skin. This product is under 20 Euro. I skip foundation because when you are a perfectionist like me it takes forever to blend and I really don't have a lot of blemishes. Instead I use concealer to cover up any darkness under the eyes, around the mouth, redness on my cheeks and the veins on my eyelids. I am currently using Select Cover Up Concealer in NW20, which is a good match for me, maybe it would have been better if it were an NW15. I apply the concealer with an E25 brush from Sigma. I believe I paid about 18euro for it. After that I set the concealer with a tinted loose powder from LR with the same brush, focusing on the eye area, because the concealer will crease if not set properly. The powder has the old packaging and if you were to buy it today, you would pay 15euro.

Hello everyone! I hope your day has been great! For this Wednesday's blog post I've decide to share with you my current Makeup Art Cosmetics wishlist, but I am going to split it into parts. This is part 1 with the lipsticks that are on the top of my wishlist. So let's begin!

I don't really have a big collection of Mac Lipsticks, but I own a couple of Satins and a Frost. I prefer the frost finish, rather than the satin which can be drying on your lips. A lot of people say that the Cremesheen finish is great because it's moisturising. I personally haven't had the chance to try one on my lips, however, it's on my to-do list. First lipstick from the cremesheen finish category that I really want to try out is Crème Cup, a lip product that so many people love and recommend. They say it's the perfect everyday shade, perfect for any occasion. Also, it is described as a light blue pink on the mac website, which means it should make teeth appear whiter, and that is something I look for in a lipstick's colour. Have you tried this product?

Another lipstick that I really want to test is Impassioned. Amped-up fuchsia is the description for this lipstick on the website and it looks gorgeous. I love bright lipsticks and this one looks like a great one. Also, there's a lot of hype about Hue, which is a soft pale pink that has a Glaze finish, which I've never tried. I'm not sure about this one though, I'm afraid it might be a bit too nude for my pale skin and make me look sick. In addition, Viva Glam Nicky looks like a fantastic colour, although being described as a bright yellow pink worries me that it may make my teeth look more yellow. Lastly, Ruby Woo looks fantastic and it's described as a very matte blue-red, which means two things. First, it's going to be drying on the lips, but the staying power should be incredibly long and secondly, it will make teeth look whiter, which is always a bonus. That's enough lipsticks for one night!

Which Mac Lipsticks do you own and what do you think about them?
Love ya, Gina :)

Monday, 17 September 2012

Hello there and welcome to my blog! I hope you enjoy your stay :)
For this Monday's blog post I am sharing this nail art design I did on Friday, because of a recent purple nail varnish purchase.

Here you can see what I came out with. There's quite a lot of a gradient effect going on. I love purple for fall and this shade is just amazing. I can see it been featured in my September favourites. Yes, I'll finally make a favourites video! I'm sorry I didn't do one for summer as I had promised.

Here we have all the items I used for my nail care and design. I started off with a clear polish as my base and moved on to three coats of the new purple varnish I mentioned. The Leciel Paris Nail Varnish in Purple. I know, such an original name! But it suits the product well since it's a true purple, not too warm, not too cool. The bottle is so small and cute as you can see from the pictures and the brush is good too. I paid 5 euro for it. The varnish could be amazing with just one coat, but I wasn't applying enough so I needed three to make it look perfect. Now on to the gradients. For my ring finger and thumb I started with OPI's Save Me Nail Lacquer on an eyeshadow sponge, shown in the picture above. Can we please take a moment and say how beautiful this product is? I love glitter polishes and this is definitely one of my favourites! Okay, let's move on. After that I uses a light purple/lavender shade to make another gradient on top of the OPI one and going a bit further down. Then I reapplied the OPI Save Me just on the tip of the nail, again by using an eyeshadow sponge. Now, to my index finger I only did the lavender gradient/ombre effect, without any glitter. I finished the design with some top coat and that's it. I hope you like my post and if you do, please let me know! If you would like me to film the process somewhat explained above, please do tell me. I hope your week will be beautiful, just like you!

Hello everyone! Today's blog post is a makeup tutorial. Yes, finally, a new video! I am so sorry, but I've been crazily busy to edit videos. Anyway, I wanted to create a transition look from summer to fall using the Paris Makeup Palette from Sigma. The eyeshadows I used were Versailles, a shimmery ivory, ElysĂ©es a shimmery medium brown and Louvre, a satin blue. The blush was Rouge and Lumière was my highlight shade. I used Gosh Serious Volume Mascara, Gosh Velvet Touch Lipstick in 122 Nougat and Myth Mac Lipstick.  The rest products will be shown in the video. I hope you like my video! Good night, Gina :)
 p.s. excuse the horrible thumbnail.

Wednesday, 12 September 2012
Hi everyone! For my Wednesday blog post I am reviewing the lipstick 150 Kitten Pink from the cosmetics company Gosh. If you have visited my blog before, you might have noticed my obsession with Gosh makeup or you might have seen the haul I posted a while ago mentioning this product.

So, I have to admit this was more of an impulse buy, rather than something I've had my eye on for a while. When I came home and tried it on my lips I was a bit surprised at how bright the lipstick actually is. It's a very confusing colour, to be honest. The colour is a true pink, not much of a blue undertone, although some times it looks fuchsia or magenta depending on the lighting. It's definitely not the best everyday colour, but still it's not really a statement lipstick.

As always, in the first picture on the left my lips are completely bare and the rest are just pictures with the same amount of lipstick just in different lighting. This product is very moisturising, like all the Gosh lipsticks I own, but it kind of feels even more moisturising. I find that the glossy feeling of it fades quite easily by drinking or eating something. When that gloss leaves the lipstick has sort of stained your lips with a very pretty fuchsia/magenta colour, that doesn't fade easily nor is drying. Of course if you brush your teeth it will completely fade away.
So, I hope you liked my post and if you did, why won't you tell me with a comment?
Also, I hope you appreciate me staying home and writing this post rather than going to my Uni's Welcome Party! I'm just kidding, I wasn't able to go anyway! Good Bye everyone! Love ya, Gina :)
Monday, 10 September 2012
Hello everyone! I hope that your day has been wonderful! Today as I came home back from Uni, I decided to film the "No mirror makeup challenge". I gathered all the products I'd need and started filming it. It was such a strange experience and the results were not what I expected. First of all, I felt like I wasn't applying much foundation, but soon you will see how cakey my makeup looked. In addition, I was expecting a thin line of eyeliner, but again I was surprised with multiple thick lines and believe it or not a winged liner effect!

Here you can admire my impressive makeup skills! I realise, I may seem sad in the pictures and there's a reason to that. As I've previously mentioned, I was recording the process of applying my makeup without a mirror and I was satisfied with it. I really could not wait until watching the footage I had recorded, but my beloved camera basically got stuck when I clicked the stop button. I waited and waited and waited, but nothing happened. So, I decided to simply remove the battery and connect it to my computer. The file wasn't able to open with any of my programmes. LOVELY! Twenty minutes of my crazily busy schedule gone. I was so upset, because I was really looking forward to editing and uploading the video. I thought it would be enjoyable and maybe a bit entertaining. Maybe I will attempt another no mirror makeup challenge video soon. Would you like to watch a video like that?
Thank you for reading,
Goodnight!
Georgia :)
Saturday, 8 September 2012
Good morning everyone! I am terribly sorry for not posting anything yesterday as I had promised a new blog post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Lately, I have been terribly tired, because I've recently started my first year of University studying Multimedia and Graphic Arts and my schedule has been horrible. Don't get me wrong, I love my Uni so far, it's just incredibly tiring. Anyway, let's move on to the blog post.

Today I am going to share with you my new and improved makeup storage. Do you remember my nail polish storage post? I mentioned there that I had gotten a new organiser from IKEA for my cosmetics.

So here is what it looks like now. I had to change my makeup drawer since the one organiser I purchased was too big to fit the one I was using. I moved my collection to another furniture from IKEA. In addition, I kept a grey organiser I bought from a book shop for my lip products.

Hello everyone! I hope you're all well.
This blog post will teach you the way I fix my cracked or broken eyeshadows. This method also works with blushes and basically all pressed powders.

This post wasn't planned, I was just moving my makeup and found my Mac Carbon Eyeshadow cracked. Nothing that big as you can see from the picture above.

Firstly, you want to spray some rubbing alcohol onto the eyeshadow and then use a cotton tip applicator to press the part of the cracked eyeshadow.

And this is how it looks!

Now, to make sure the shadow is pressed and secure spray some more rubbing alcohol and press it down with a clean finger. Using a tissue to press is also a great idea, since it would absorb the excess moisture as well as pushing the pigments together.

And that is it! I hope I have help you in some way :)
Goodbye!

Hello everyone and welcome to one more BeautyInsideArt blog post! Today I am going to share how I've recently organised my nail polishes / varnishes / lacquers. On Saturday, I went to IKEA and purchased a drawer separator/organiser in order to be used for my makeup collection. A blog post on that is coming soon. So, I used what I bought and I was left with another smaller organiser that I used to have my makeup essentials. So after some time thinking about how I could use the item, I decided it would be a lifesaver in my nail stuff drawer.

This is how messy my nail things looked before organising them. It was really horrible and I hated it.

This is the organiser that I used, found at a local shop called Jumbo.

This is how the nail drawer looked after my organising. What do you think? You must be thinking that I really don't have many nail polishes and that's quite true, considering that my sister has a very unhealthy need to buy more and more nail stuff. I just use hers.

And this is how it looks after adding some more products. Do you think it looks organised? What are your organising tips? Trust me, I need them! :)

Hey you! For today's post I've decided to share with you a lipstick that I bought recently. It's a new, moisturising product from the German company LR.

The formula of the lipstick totally feels like a Revlon Lip Butter. Moisturising and pigmented. I have the shade 4, Soft Cranberry, which is the best colour for fall. As always, the top picture on the left is just my bare lips and the rest of them are with the same amount of lipstick just in different lighting.

I really like this product, although it has a pretty strong bitter-sweet smell, if that makes any sense. Also, I love the packaging! In addition there are three more shades that I want to try. Sheer Rosewood, Aquatic Apricot and Rose Romance. If you are interested in trying this product just contact me. It's about 17 EUR.
Bye-bye and you will see me soon! Love ya, Gina! :)

So, I've had a very tiring day! How about you? How was your day?
Oh, sorry! I forgot to welcome you to my blog! How rude of me, but the lack of sleep is really making my head spin right now, as I am writing this post. I really hope your day was better than mine. I went to uni to get my schedule and it was a horrible mess...

Anyway, enough drama. Hello everyone! Despite the long hours of stress at Uni I also did some shopping! Yay :) Firstly I went to a shop that basically sells everything, has low prices, but quality isn't always the best, called Jumbo. I believe it's a Greek shop and I bought some uni supplies. Notebooks and pens mainly.

After that I spend some time at Debenhams. Such a lovely place! I bought a Gosh Velvet Touch Lipstick in "Kitten Pink" which is so pretty! You know I'm in love with those lipsticks! Also, a Korres Watermelon Body Scrub and the O.P.I Nail Lacquer "Into The Night", which is basically a midnight blue, with some purple undertones. I believe this is the first time I buy anything from Korres and I have been interested in trying the brand out. Also, it's Greek and  guess who else is Greek? Yes, you've figure it out! I am! Call me a patriot, I want to support Greece.

In addition to my Debenhams buys, I got this gorgeous pink top which is London themed. I absolutely love anything English/British so this was love at first sight!

Here we have the pretty Gosh Lipstick! A proper review on this one is coming.

This one cost 7.90 EUR.

This is the price of the London Tee. Great Sale Debenhams!

And here we have the Korres Scrub.  A proper review on this one is also coming.

The scrub was 11 EUR.

And the last thing is the O.P.I nail varnish, which I forgot to include in the pictures above. I will be making a blog post on this one too. I believe I paid 11 EUR, but it could have more than that. Left picture was taken with flash whilst, the right one was under the room's normal lamp.

Et voilĂ  the end of my little haul! Hope you enjoyed!
 Love ya! Kisses, Gina :)
