Hello everyone. Ah, it feels so good to be doing fashion posts again. I think fashion post are my favourite thing on this blog. They're the most fun to shoot, even though I might look slightly crazy to my neighbours taking photos of myself in the middle of the road. Nonetheless, I love the feeling I get when I manage to take a successful photo. Even though, it can be quite time consuming and challenging doing it all by myself - getting the right focus, settings, framing, expression, etc - I would do it everyday if I could.
This is a pretty boring outfit, but I'm absolutely proud of the photos I was able to take. This is where my 50mm lens is at its best, blurring beautifully the background. As it happened to be afternoon and the camera was facing the setting sun, it created lovely lens flares, and a rather stunning background.
Let's talk about the clothes. My soft, purple jumper is from Dorothy Perkins and my dark grey jeggings from Tally Weijl. My awesome boots which are a size too big are from Marks & Spencer and my black clutch bag from Stradivarius. The necklace was a gift and on my nails I have Deborah Shine Tech nail varnish in number 29, blog post here.
Loving the lighting in these photos, so beautiful and dreamy! xxx
