Hello everyone! I hope you've all had a great weekend! Yesterday, I was cleaning up my room and decided to apply some changes to the way I store my jewellery. Today, I wasn't sure what to blog about, and then it hit me that I should share my jewellery organization and storage with you. I always love seeing how people store their accessories and I hope this post will be interesting to some of you.
As you can see from the photograph above, I store most of my jewellery in clear cases. To be more specific, I store some of my arm candy in a Ferrero Rocher empty container. (I don't particularly like those chocolates, but I love the boxes they come in. ) My bangles are stored in a clear, round vase, that I used to put my makeup brushes in. As for my earrings, I used a white, shoe box lid which, I wrapped around it a pair of white, old tights and I just place the earrings in the the fabric. Now, I can't take credit for this idea, because I found it on youtube, a couple of years ago.
Let's move on to my necklaces. Nothing special or creative in terms of organising here. I just leave them hanging on a magenta, wall organiser thing, I don't know what to call it. I've been storing them like this for years, just like my earrings. It's a great way to keep them, because you can see what you have, and that is very important for me, since I keep forgetting what I own, resulting in to me not wearing my stuff and buying other similar ones.
Lastly, we have my rings. Rings are my favourite type of jewellery, because I can wear them all year round. For instance, I can't wear bracelets in the winter, because I don't like them on top of clothes. Again, I keep them in a Ferrero Rocher empty container, different than the one for my bracelets. All I did, was to remove the brand's sticker and the box is great for storing anything. This box, also includes some more expensive jewellery that I don't want to keep unprotected.
I hope my blog post has helped you with your jewellery storing and organisation. If it hasn't, then I hope you've enjoyed it, at least. Oddly enough, I feel like this post is short and I haven't said a lot of things, today. Nonetheless, I wish you a happy and productive week. By the way, I have filmed a new makeup video for my youtube channel, and all I have to do is the editing part, so look out for that in the next couple of days.
