Hello everyone! I haven't blogged in two weeks, because I have been on holiday in England with my family. I'll blog about that soon and I have Primark and Boots hauls to film too. Before leaving I wanted to blog about my birthday on the 8th of August and have a separate post on my outfit but I wasn't able to do that. As a result, today's post is huge! I'll talk about my 19th birthday, I'll show you the presents I got, my outfit and how I got ready with a video. Following my mother's advice, I invited my closest friends to Pizza Hut, for dinner and we had a lovely time.

On Friday afternoon, hopefully I will be in the UK, London to be exact. My cousin is getting married and everyone in my family is going to catch a plane to be there, except my dad. I haven't been to England since 2011 and I'm so excited to go back. Besides my family there, I've also missed the Primark shopping experience and I will definitely post a huge haul video. But, I would also love to go to Boots, Superdrug, Topshop, Debenhams and other places that sell cosmetics that I can't get in Cyprus. Basically, this post consists of ten different brands, which I haven't really tried before.

Urban Decay is one of the few brands that I have tried. I own the older version of the Feminine Palette, which I absolutely love. But it was a purchase made online and I would love to just be able to see and test the Naked Palettes in person. Particularly, Naked 2 and Naked Basics. Which one of the two would you pick?

Dainty Doll is a brand that a lot of beauty bloggers talk about and I have been wanting to try their products since they were launched, but without being able to see what they have in person, just makes me take a step away from buying anything. Their blushes look very promising and especially Billion Dollar Babies cream blusher.

Nars, oh, Nars. This is a brand that has been on my wishlist for such a long time. Yet once again, I haven't been brave enough to try their products with an online purchase. It's harder when the brand is as expensive and the possibility of disappointment is greater. I have made a Nars wishlist a year ago, and here I am today, still wishing to buy something from them. I really want to buy the Sheer Glow foundation and the Pure Radiant tinted moisturiser, but without the risk of getting the wrong shade for my skin tone.

Illamasqua is a brand that I've only recently started to think about. Especially when I saw those speckled nail varnishes. In the picture above I show you Scarce which looks absolutely beautiful and I would love to have it on my nails. In addition, there's some hype around their Skin Base Foundation, which I would love to try.

Hello everyone! Today's video is about me getting ready from start to finish for a night out to a club with my friends. You can see me apply my makeup, choose my outfit and accessories. I was in a bit of a hurry, so my makeup ended up being a bit simpler than what I wanted. Also, my outfit could have been better, yes I mean those shoes, but I decided to go for comfort instead of style. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to watch in HD!

This Oriflame makeup bag has been in the first drawer of my desk for about six months. The majority of the products have stayed the same, throughout that time. My desk is where I normally apply my makeup on a daily basis. The rest of my makeup is kept next to my bed in an IKEA organiser (Makeup Organisation post here). Since the rest of my makeup has some distance from my desk, that a lazy girl like me doesn't like, I keep a bag with my go-to makeup products for easy access. So today, I will be sharing with you what these products are and why I use them so often.

Hello everyone! Summer is here and I felt like filming a colourful makeup tutorial for you. Well, it's not very colourful, but it's not boring, right? Excuse the photo above, I don't look good in close-ups. I'm so glad that I have been able to post four new blog posts, this week and I think I am going to try keeping this new schedule for next week, as well. But there's a lot of planning to be done, so I won't miss any days. Allow me to remind you what the new schedule is. Tuesday a beauty post, Wednesday an Instagram one, Thursday a fashion blog post and on Friday a youtube video. Anyway, I hope you like the video and the look. Don't forget to watch the video in HD and subscribe to get notified for future videos.

Hello everyone! For a while now, I've been thinking of filming my everyday makeup routine and now I have! This is really a routine, since every time I do my makeup for uni and I'm in a hurry, I always end up using the same products and this video shows everything. I want simple and natural looking makeup for university. As I explain in the video, I don't wear foundation, just concealer, because I find it time consuming and I'm always in a hurry to catch the bus. There are steps I would skip sometimes, because of not having enough time, for example, the liner and the cheek products. All products used are listed below! Don't forget to like, comment and watch the video in HD!

Hello everyone! I hope you've all had a great week and a relaxing weekend. Today I've decided to share with you my current makeup wishlist. I have posted wishlists before, but they were focused on specific brands like Mac or Nars. So, shall we get started?
Firstly, I would like to try the new Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation. I have heard some positive reviews and I would like to give it a go, since I am not the biggest fan of heavy coverage foundations. Moving on to another face product, the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. This has been a foundation that I have been wanting to try for a while but I haven't, simply because of the shade range. As far as I know, Rimmel is not sold in Cyprus, so I can't physically test the shades to see if I could find a match. I might wait until I go to London in August, or order it online in the lightest shade, to give it a try. Since we are talking about Rimmel let's talk about the relatively new Apocalips lips lacquers. I've seen so many people mention these and I really want to try them. All of the colours look gorgeous, but Big Bang would be the first colour I would buy. Let's go back to Revlon, for a second. One more thing that I would love to get from this brand is the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick. Of course I would like to try other colours too, but if I had to pick one, it'd be this one. You're all going to laugh at me for not owning the Naked Palette from Urban Decay, but it's on my wishlist. I think I don't need it, even though I am lacking some warm, neutral eyeshadows. One other product that so many people have tried is the Benefit They're Real Mascara. I am looking for a new mascara to buy and this one has such positive reviews, that I might just buy it soon. In addition I would love to try any of the Topshop makeup or nail varnishes. To my disappointment, Topshop makeup is not sold at my local Topshop.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2013 will be bring happiness and health for you and your loved ones!
I had a few ideas for today's blog post and I couldn't decide what to do. First post of the year should be something good and informative, don't you think?
I finally came to the decision that something like 2012 Favourites would be a great post. After all, I haven't done many favourites posts. So, I am writing this blog post with a cup of warm tea and with the relaxing sound of the rain landing on my roof. Ah, so romantic...Um, yeah, I've lost my mind...I need to watch Pride and Prejudice again!

Okay, are you still with me? The products/items I've decided to share with you tonight are what I consider to be the ones I had been using the most in 2012. Let's begin!
MAKEUP:
Favourite Concealer: Select Cover Up from Mac in NW20, is a product that has been featured previously. I found myself completely skipping foundation during the summer and all I used was this little fella on the areas that needed some kind of coverage. I haven't used foundation since then, but my skin doesn't have a lot of blemishes. It's average teenage, sensitive skin. I wouldn't recommend using this without setting with powder on the under eye area, simply because it will crease. The coverage of it is quite light and the consistency is a bit watery, so if you are trying to make blemishes completely vanish, this isn't something for you. I like it because it's not heavy and you need a very small amount, it will last ages!
Favourite Powder: The LR Colours Loose Powder has be in my makeup collection for many years. As I've said the concealer needs to be set and the powder adds some more coverage to the skin. Although, this powder is my favourite, I have been wanting to get a pressed powder because this one can get your vanity a little bit dusty. Do you have any recommendations?
Favourite Eye Product: This one has to be Bare Study Paint Pot from Mac, without a doubt! Every time I have no idea what to do with my makeup, or I have very little time to get ready, somehow, I always use this product. The colour is an amazing, warm champagne with tons of tiny shimmery particles that instantly makes the eyes seem awake. It blends like a dream and I find that it can be worn completely on its own, on my normal to dry skin, without creasing.
Favourite Palette: Bare Eye Shadow Palette from Sigma. This shouldn't be a surprise to someone who follows my blog. I have filmed two makeup tutorials on my youtube account (link here) and I've posted a full review on the blog (link here). The shades in this palette are simply perfect for any look, you can go from the simplest everyday look to a very dramatic one. Also, the double ended brush included is a must have.
Favourite Mascara: Gosh Serious Volume Mascara, oh what a surprise! I have been using this mascara for such a long time, from the summer, and I think it's great. I have blogged about this one too (link here).

Yes people, I am alive! I know I haven't posted anything for ages, but had I known university would be so demanding, I would have thought twice before applying. Anyway, today I am bringing you a makeup haul from Gosh. I have been doing some clothing shopping too and you will see that soon.

I have been wanting to add a taupe nail varnish in my collection for a very long time and when I saw 602 Mystical from Gosh, it was love at first sight. This is a medium dark, cool toned brown with some purple shimmer. The picture doesn't do any justice to this gorgeous shade. This was 6.50 euro.

The next item is this gorgeous royal blue (darker than the picture), called 009 Cobalt Blue. I love blue and as soon as I glanced at it, I knew it was meant to be in my collection. I paid 4.60 for this one.

Lastly, I got a Velvet Touch Eyeliner in Funky Violet, which is a surprising wearable warm purple. I'm not sure for this one's price but it couldn't have been more than 9 euro.

Okay everyone, that will be all for today. Please bear with me until I finish my finals. Love you all and thank you for reading! Do you have anything from Gosh that you would recommend to me?

Hello everyone and I hope you are all doing well! For my last blog post of the week I've decided to share with your beautiful souls my current go-to beauty products. These are the cosmetics that I have been using everyday to get ready in the morning for University. Let's start by saying how I want to look for uni. I want a routine that takes a couple of minutes and I really don't want to look like I'm wearing any makeup, especially since the other girls in my class don't look overdone.

I start by applying my Aloe Vera Day Cream from LR, because my skin is normal to dry and this moisturizer is amazing for dry skin. This product is under 20 Euro. I skip foundation because when you are a perfectionist like me it takes forever to blend and I really don't have a lot of blemishes. Instead I use concealer to cover up any darkness under the eyes, around the mouth, redness on my cheeks and the veins on my eyelids. I am currently using Select Cover Up Concealer in NW20, which is a good match for me, maybe it would have been better if it were an NW15. I apply the concealer with an E25 brush from Sigma. I believe I paid about 18euro for it. After that I set the concealer with a tinted loose powder from LR with the same brush, focusing on the eye area, because the concealer will crease if not set properly. The powder has the old packaging and if you were to buy it today, you would pay 15euro.

Hello everyone! Today's blog post is a makeup tutorial. Yes, finally, a new video! I am so sorry, but I've been crazily busy to edit videos. Anyway, I wanted to create a transition look from summer to fall using the Paris Makeup Palette from Sigma. The eyeshadows I used were Versailles, a shimmery ivory, Elysées a shimmery medium brown and Louvre, a satin blue. The blush was Rouge and Lumière was my highlight shade. I used Gosh Serious Volume Mascara, Gosh Velvet Touch Lipstick in 122 Nougat and Myth Mac Lipstick.  The rest products will be shown in the video. I hope you like my video! Good night, Gina :)
 p.s. excuse the horrible thumbnail.

Hello everyone! I hope that your day has been wonderful! Today as I came home back from Uni, I decided to film the "No mirror makeup challenge". I gathered all the products I'd need and started filming it. It was such a strange experience and the results were not what I expected. First of all, I felt like I wasn't applying much foundation, but soon you will see how cakey my makeup looked. In addition, I was expecting a thin line of eyeliner, but again I was surprised with multiple thick lines and believe it or not a winged liner effect!

Here you can admire my impressive makeup skills! I realise, I may seem sad in the pictures and there's a reason to that. As I've previously mentioned, I was recording the process of applying my makeup without a mirror and I was satisfied with it. I really could not wait until watching the footage I had recorded, but my beloved camera basically got stuck when I clicked the stop button. I waited and waited and waited, but nothing happened. So, I decided to simply remove the battery and connect it to my computer. The file wasn't able to open with any of my programmes. LOVELY! Twenty minutes of my crazily busy schedule gone. I was so upset, because I was really looking forward to editing and uploading the video. I thought it would be enjoyable and maybe a bit entertaining. Maybe I will attempt another no mirror makeup challenge video soon. Would you like to watch a video like that?
Thank you for reading,
Goodnight!
Georgia :)

Good morning everyone! I am terribly sorry for not posting anything yesterday as I had promised a new blog post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Lately, I have been terribly tired, because I've recently started my first year of University studying Multimedia and Graphic Arts and my schedule has been horrible. Don't get me wrong, I love my Uni so far, it's just incredibly tiring. Anyway, let's move on to the blog post.

Today I am going to share with you my new and improved makeup storage. Do you remember my nail polish storage post? I mentioned there that I had gotten a new organiser from IKEA for my cosmetics.

So here is what it looks like now. I had to change my makeup drawer since the one organiser I purchased was too big to fit the one I was using. I moved my collection to another furniture from IKEA. In addition, I kept a grey organiser I bought from a book shop for my lip products.
