Hello everyone. I hope April has been a great month for all of you! Since May is almost here and the weather is getting a lot warmer, I've decided to share with you one of my favourite lipsticks for this season. I am talking about Costa Chic from Mac. This lipstick was my go-to lipstick for summer 2012 and I predict it's going to be one that won't be leaving my lips from now on.
In the picture above, on the upper left hand-side, you can see my natural and bare (+ugly) lips. The other 3 photos show my lips with the same amount of lipstick, just in different lighting situations. No lip balm, no lip-gloss, just Costa Chic on my lips. You'll have to excuse the not so glamorous appearance of my lips, they're not properly moisturised nor exfoliated. This product, being a member of the Frost category of Mac lipsticks, isn't as drying as a Satin, but still it isn't the most moisturising one, either. When first applied it feels moisturising but after 3-4 hours of wear it starts to get a tiny bit drying and will sort of stain the lips, thus being less likely to transfer. There is no need to re-apply, just apply some lip balm and you're good. The colour doesn't fade easily, and the lip balm will get rid of the dryness.

Hello my beautiful angles! I've missed you! You have no idea how much studying I have been doing, and frankly I am beginning to question whether I should be in Uni in the first place. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be fine after my mid-term exams.
For this Friday's blog post I shall be talking about my first lipstick from Mac, which is Myth. Well, I wouldn't call this product a favourite of mine. I don't think it looks good on pale people like me. It really depends on how it's applied. One day it can look great and the next it could be completely unflattering.
I remember the day I bought this product, it was two years ago. I was so tired and I just went into the Mac store and I asked for a nude lipstick. Everyone was following the nude lip trend and I wanted to try it. The lady swatched quite a few shades on her hand, and there was one that I liked. She cleaned it and gave it to me to test it. For some odd reason, I liked it on my lips at the store, I believe the lighting had something to do with that, considering it was twilight. So I paid 17€ for this and imagine my disappointment when I got home and tried it again. I though it looked horrible, like a dead, or ill person. Maybe the girl had given me the wrong colour. I guess we will never now. By the way the colour looks darker in the tube for some reason.

Hello everyone! I hope your day has been great! For this Wednesday's blog post I've decide to share with you my current Makeup Art Cosmetics wishlist, but I am going to split it into parts. This is part 1 with the lipsticks that are on the top of my wishlist. So let's begin!
I don't really have a big collection of Mac Lipsticks, but I own a couple of Satins and a Frost. I prefer the frost finish, rather than the satin which can be drying on your lips. A lot of people say that the Cremesheen finish is great because it's moisturising. I personally haven't had the chance to try one on my lips, however, it's on my to-do list. First lipstick from the cremesheen finish category that I really want to try out is Crème Cup, a lip product that so many people love and recommend. They say it's the perfect everyday shade, perfect for any occasion. Also, it is described as a light blue pink on the mac website, which means it should make teeth appear whiter, and that is something I look for in a lipstick's colour. Have you tried this product?
Another lipstick that I really want to test is Impassioned. Amped-up fuchsia is the description for this lipstick on the website and it looks gorgeous. I love bright lipsticks and this one looks like a great one. Also, there's a lot of hype about Hue, which is a soft pale pink that has a Glaze finish, which I've never tried. I'm not sure about this one though, I'm afraid it might be a bit too nude for my pale skin and make me look sick. In addition, Viva Glam Nicky looks like a fantastic colour, although being described as a bright yellow pink worries me that it may make my teeth look more yellow. Lastly, Ruby Woo looks fantastic and it's described as a very matte blue-red, which means two things. First, it's going to be drying on the lips, but the staying power should be incredibly long and secondly, it will make teeth look whiter, which is always a bonus. That's enough lipsticks for one night!
Which Mac Lipsticks do you own and what do you think about them?
Love ya, Gina :)

Hi everyone! For my Wednesday blog post I am reviewing the lipstick 150 Kitten Pink from the cosmetics company Gosh. If you have visited my blog before, you might have noticed my obsession with Gosh makeup or you might have seen the haul I posted a while ago mentioning this product.
So, I have to admit this was more of an impulse buy, rather than something I've had my eye on for a while. When I came home and tried it on my lips I was a bit surprised at how bright the lipstick actually is. It's a very confusing colour, to be honest. The colour is a true pink, not much of a blue undertone, although some times it looks fuchsia or magenta depending on the lighting. It's definitely not the best everyday colour, but still it's not really a statement lipstick.
As always, in the first picture on the left my lips are completely bare and the rest are just pictures with the same amount of lipstick just in different lighting. This product is very moisturising, like all the Gosh lipsticks I own, but it kind of feels even more moisturising. I find that the glossy feeling of it fades quite easily by drinking or eating something. When that gloss leaves the lipstick has sort of stained your lips with a very pretty fuchsia/magenta colour, that doesn't fade easily nor is drying. Of course if you brush your teeth it will completely fade away.
So, I hope you liked my post and if you did, why won't you tell me with a comment?
Also, I hope you appreciate me staying home and writing this post rather than going to my Uni's Welcome Party! I'm just kidding, I wasn't able to go anyway! Good Bye everyone! Love ya, Gina :)

Hey you! For today's post I've decided to share with you a lipstick that I bought recently. It's a new, moisturising product from the German company LR.
The formula of the lipstick totally feels like a Revlon Lip Butter. Moisturising and pigmented. I have the shade 4, Soft Cranberry, which is the best colour for fall. As always, the top picture on the left is just my bare lips and the rest of them are with the same amount of lipstick just in different lighting.
I really like this product, although it has a pretty strong bitter-sweet smell, if that makes any sense. Also, I love the packaging! In addition there are three more shades that I want to try. Sheer Rosewood, Aquatic Apricot and Rose Romance. If you are interested in trying this product just contact me. It's about 17 EUR.
Bye-bye and you will see me soon! Love ya, Gina! :)

Recently, my sister bought this Mac lipstick and to be honest when I first glanced at it, it didn't really excite me. It's a very natural colour and I am usually attracted to brighter lipsticks. As soon as I tried it on my lips though, I knew this guy deserved a review, because I haven't heard many people mentioning this lipstick. This colour is so versatile, that the possibilities are endless! It can be appropriate for school and work when used with a lip balm for a more sheer effect, because this lipstick and all the Satins that I have tried are very pigmented. Or you could top it off with a bright lip gloss for a party night.
In the first picture, on the top left, my lips are completely bare and on the other three I have the same amount of lipstick, just in different lighting. I am aware of the fact that my lips look horrible. I haven't applied lip balm and I haven't exfoliated my lips in a while. This is the beauty of a Satin Finish Lipstick. It sort of emphasises your lips flaws, since it's not really the most moisturising lipstick family. But no need to worry, just apply some lip balm and/or lip gloss and it should be fine. Also exfoliating your lips with a good exfoliant or some sugar with water is an incredible way to get soft and healthy looking lips.

This is the first Gosh Lipstick I have ever purchased and because I was so impressed with the quality of it a few weeks after buying this one I bought the "Dangerous 149" on which I also have a blog post.
I initially bought this lipstick as a gift to my best friend for her birthday with a couple of other things, that I have filmed a video on and will be posted this Wednesday. When I swatched it on my hand at Debenhams I really liked the colour pay off, so I decided to get one for me. My best friend tells me that this lipstick is definitely her favourite. She is a bit more tan than what I am and it suits her well.
In the first picture on top I have nothing on my lips. The rest of the pictures are with the same amount of the lipstick, just in different lighting. I have no lip balm, no lip-gloss on and I haven't exfoliated my lips. As you might have noticed, I think this particular colour on my skin-tone makes my teeth a bit more yellow than usual, but maybe that's just me. This creamy lipstick is the perfect "your lips but better" colour. It's a bit more darker in person than in this picture.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY!
This is a gorgeous bright red-coral lipstick from Gosh called Dangerous 149. A product that reminds me of the Satin finish from Mac but 10 times more moisturising.
Do you have any Gosh Velvet Touch Lipsticks? Do you like the quality? Do you have a colour to recommend?
