Hello everyone. How has your week been so far? Today, I decided to paint my nails and to be just a little bit creative and fun for my birthday, which is tomorrow. I can't believe that I will be 19 in a while. It just seems so old! Well, enough with my quarter life crisis, let's talk about nails! I honestly had no idea nor plan for my nails and I just went with the flow, I guess. That's my favourite way of painting on a canvas, too. I love it when I don't even know what I'm going to end up with. I knew I wanted to use Essie - In The Cab-Ana, because I absolutely love that colour, but I had no clue of what else I wanted to do. I started off with a layer of my go-to base coat, the Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat. Then I applied two coats of In The Cab-Ana, but a third one would have been ideal. Now on to the fun part! Firstly, I decided to opt for an ombre/gradient effect on the middle finger using China Glaze - Re-Fresh Mint. The same nail lacquer and an eBay dotting tool were used to create the polka dots on my index finger of my left hand and my right ring finger. After that, I used the angle of a square sellotape piece and Nubar - Star Sparkle Nail Lacquer to create just one chevron design dividing my thumbnail, left ring finger and right index nail. Also, I added some Re-Fresh Mint abstract lines and dots where Essie meets Nubar, with the smaller end of the dotting tool. Lastly, I applied a generous coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.
Do you like my nails? What have you got on your nails at the moment?

Hello everyone! Today, I will be sharing with you my top three nail lacquers for Spring and Summer. Since it's been getting a lot warmer here (30 °C) I felt the need to paint my nails something bright and fun and as I was thinking of which one to pick I came up with the idea of this blog post.

When I think of summer and spring a few colours pop in my head. A bright orange, a neon pink, a mint and an ocean blue. As you can see I don't have a blue here, because I haven't found one that I like, yet. If you have any recommendations, please comment below and tell me.

My top 3 nail varnishes are Crush on You by Orly, Re-Fresh Mint by China Glaze and last but not least Fancy Fuchsia by Orly. The latter has been featured again on my blog here. Crush on You is a beautiful bright orange, which unfortunately is quite sheer. It certainly looks brighter in the bottle rather than on the nails. You need about three coats to make it look decent, but it's very shiny. This was the colour that was on my nails two weeks ago and I've posted a photo of my nails with it on Instagram.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well. Today, after decorating our Christmas tree at home, I felt like blogging about something related to the upcoming holidays and I decided to go for nail varnish. Tonight's blog post is on my top 11 nail varnishes for winter and the holidays. You may think eleven is a big number, but I have different shades and different finishes for different tastes. So let's take a closer look at them!

Starting from left to right we have one of my favourite polishes from China Glaze called Solar Flare. You might have seen me use this before. It has gold particles that are medium to big in size, in a clear lacquer. For this product, it would be best if applied with a base colour underneath.

Moving on to a shade that I have actually blogged about, a while ago. The so originally named Purple from Leciel Paris. This is a perfectly balanced purple. Not too red, not too blue. I just love it!
