It's spring and pastels are officially the colour palette of this season. Personally, I love pastels all year round, but when in spring, wearing pastels feels even better, somehow. Today, I'm sharing with you the first pastel colour that I painted my nails with in 2014. Exciting, right? I haven't been in the mood of painting my nails for a few months, I'm not sure why. Anyway, this lovely, light, pastel turquoise shade on my nails is Essie's Mint Candy Apple. You've probably never heard of it... I'm joking of course, as every beauty blogger and their mother raves about it! It totally deserves all the hype it gets, frankly. The wide brush makes application so easy, but you do need a couple of coats for an opaque result. I've heard some things about chipping, but since I used Sally Hansen Double Duty as my base coat and Seche Vite top coat, I haven't experienced any.
