Hello everyone. How has your week been so far? My phone is still broken, so no Instagram  post this week. Instead, I've decided to blog about my latest painting. Like I said my phone is broken at the moment, so I have been using my old one and quite randomly I found an old photo that my dad had taken. That photo was of a beautiful sunrise at the sea where my dad works. He goes to work around 4 am, so he has seen this scenery many times. One day he decided to capture it for me, because he knows that I love sunrises and sunsets. So when  I found the photo that he had taken and sent me, I was thrilled, because I had completely forgotten about how much I wanted to paint it. Well, I decided to go ahead and attempt to draw it and here it is. I'm still not a great painter, but I'm satisfied with my abilities as an artist.

I don't know about you, but for as long as I can remember waiting for my painted nails to dry was a nightmare. I've always enjoyed painting them, but hated the waiting part. I especially hate the part when I'd wake up the next day to find out that my nails have the texture of my bed sheets and being in a hurry to get to school in time, the option of nail polish remover isn't on the table. Luckily, Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat entered my life and from the first time of use changed my nail painting routine, completely.

Hello everyone! How are you today? Today's fashion post is again one that you might have seen in my Summer Lookbook video. It's definitely one of my favourite outfits for summer, as it is so simple, cute and comfortable. The aztec printed top is from Tally Weijl as is the tan bag. My shorts are from Terranova and my sunnies are from Stradivarius. My gorgeous gold ring is from Bershka and my gold bracelets are from Primark. Lastly, my earrings are from Debenhams and my shoes from Shoebox.

Hello everyone! Unlike my previous Wednesday blog posts that were about my Instagram photos, today I will be having a fashion one. If you follow me on twitter, you might have heard that my phone has broken, so I haven't posted any photos on my Instagram profile for a week. I still don't know how damaged my phone really is, but I'm praying it's nothing too bad. Nonetheless, let's talk about fashion. You might have seen this outfit before if you've watched my Summer Lookbook. This is a very fun and simple look for summer that is a bit on the edgier side. My black cropped top is from Stradivarius and my blue maxi skirt from eBay. My adorable owl necklace is from Tally Weijl and some of my bracelets are from Primark. That studded vest was purchased at a local shop called Bazaar, I think, that is now closed. Lastly, my white tennis shoes are from H&M.

If I had to choose only one makeup product to use for the rest of my life it would certainly be mascara. I find that when I wear mascara, it instantly changes my face, it makes me look more awake and prettier. Since, mascara is such an important step in my makeup routine, I'm always on the search for the best one. Recently, my sister gave me the Avon Super Shock Max Mascara in Black and I have been using it ever since. It has a dry formula and a huge wand. After using it for a couple of months the product gets a lot drier, thus resulting in clumpier lashes. I'd definitely say that it adds more volume than length, as you can see from the photo above. In the top picture my lashes are completely au naturel and underneath my lashes have one coat of the mascara, without curling or brushing them. One coat is usually what I opt for on a regular basis, but for a night out two coats is also good. I wouldn't recommend adding more than two coats, as it would simply make the lashes clumpy and unnatural. My ideal mascara gives me length and volume, but still looks natural. I really dislike unnatural, thick and clumpy lashes and sometimes black can look quite odd against my light skin-tone. I think it's around €10 and for that price you can't really complain as the typical price tag for a high-street / drugstore mascara is around €15. I should also add that I have naturally long lashes, so most  of the time mascaras tend to look good on me. They simply dye my naturally blond lashes, giving me the length that's already there. In addition, this isn't waterproof, at all. This is definitely not my favourite mascara, but it's good enough. I don't think this is a product that I would repurchase any time soon, though.

Hello everyone! How has your day been so far? Mine has been kind of crazy with my niece having very high fever, but she's feeling better now. Today's blog post is a fashion one. I'm sharing with you a simple outfit for summer, that I wore on my best friend's birthday on Saturday night. It's very basic in the jewellery department, as I'm only wearing a lovely pair of silver and purple earrings and three dainty, silver rings. The statement piece of the look is the galaxy patterned dress from Romwe (featured in my previous video). My grey handbag is from a local shop called Shoebox and my floral patterned heels are from Marks and Spencer.

Hello everyone! Today's blog post is an Instagram one, where I share six photos of my previous seven days. Firstly, we have a pile of dirty dishes that I washed. I know, very interesting! Next to that there's a small haul. A new wooden and flat palette, a small paint brush and contact lenses. Last image of the first row is the brown handbag I bought for my best friend's birthday. It was from Bershka and on sale for 20 Euro. The green one is from the birthday party on Saturday. Next to that, we have a photo of the beach in my town. Last but not least, it's the picture of my beautiful niece sleeping, taken today when I was babysitting.

Images Sources: Blonde OmbreLight BlondeBright Red, Purple Ombre, Ginger and Pink Ombre
I've always loved experimenting with my hair, well in theory mostly. I have had blonde highlights for a couple of years and I've also been a red-haired for a month. The colour went from a deep red to a light brown in a couple of months, to be more specific. Currently, my hair is a shade of blond similar to the darker colour in the first picture (hair post here), but even though I promised my hair that I will not dye it for at least a year, I am already thinking about what colour to go for next time. I made this promise to my hair, because it's a bit damaged from the previous four hair dyes. The first hairstyle I would love to try on my hair is a blonde ombre. Oh, how original of me! I just think it looks very nice and since my best friend gave her hair an ombre, I just can't stop thinking about trying it. Something that has been on my hairstyle wishlist for a long time is to dye all of my hair a light shade of blonde. I've always wanted to do it, but never been brave enough. Even though I was a red-haired last year, I didn't enjoy it. Like I said the colour didn't last and it wasn't dyed properly, as my sister was pretending to be a hairdresser. I would like to try it again, but have a professional do it. I love red hair and I think it would suit me with my light skin-tone and green eyes. In addition, ginger is one more colour I would like to see my hair be. The colour in the picture is actually not very far from the colour my hair is now. Lately, so many people have been adding some crazy colours to their hair, and I am starting to like the idea of having a pastel colour in my hair. As you can see from the photo above, I really like purple and pink ombre. You might see me with pink in my hair soon, as I found an incredibly easy way to try it.

What hairstyles would you like to try?

Hello everyone! How has your week been so far? Mine has been fine, with a mixture of art and beauty. First photo is from when I painted my nails with Essie's In The Cab-Ana beautiful nail polish. Next to that there's a finished painting that I had been working on lately. Last picture of the first row is what was left of my delicious Caesar Salad I had on Monday with my best friend before watching Despicable Me 2 at the cinema. First photo of the second row is of the items I used to apply my makeup for yesterday's post. Next to that there's my niece playing with a pen and a notebook (more like destroying a notebook). Last but not least, there is my unfinished attempt to draw Matt Smith's eye. Eyes fascinate me and I love to draw them.

Hello everyone! After having this beauty blog and youtube channel for over a year I've finally decided to upload a favourites of the month video. Basically, I talk about what things beauty and non beauty related I have loved in June. I hope you like it. Don't forget to watch in HD and subscribe.

Hello everyone. Instead of doing a fashion post, like the previous two Thursdays, I am going to be talking about a nail varnish. Yesterday, Essie In The Cab-Ana arrived at my house after ordering it from Amazon three weeks ago. This is the first Essie polish I've ever tried, as I'm almost certain they aren't sold in my country. I have the lovely Lily Pebbles to blame for this purchase as I saw her wear this colour on her nails in one of her videos. It is such an amazingly beautiful colour that screams summer to me and I haven't got anything like it. I've been wanting to try this brand for a long time, but there's a lot of love and hate surrounding it. I believe there are two different lines, with different applicators and formulas and this is from the older one. I can see why a lot of people dislike this range, as the application can be a bit streaky, but as Lily said, it's nothing Seche Vite can't fix. I was actually in a hurry when I painted my nails with this, yesterday. Like I said in yesterday's post, I went to a beach, birthday party and five minutes before leaving I decided to give this a go, as I couldn't resist. I started off with Sally Hansen Double Duty as my base coat and ended up applying two coats of In The Cab-Ana, for a more even finish. Last step was of course a coat of Seche Vite, like I said I was in a hurry to get to the party and this top coat dries amazingly fast.

Isn't it a gorgeous shade?

Hello everyone! How has July been for you so far? Personally, I think it's going to be a very fun month, with a couple of parties and friend gatherings. I've just come home from a beach party, to be exact. But enough with that, let's have a look at this week's Instagram post. First photo is of my brand new Sleek Candy Collection Blush By 3 and next to that is my old swimsuit that I wore on Friday, when I went to the sea with my mum. Then we have two clothing items bought from Stradivarius, the white vest being the birthday gift for today's beach party. After that, you can see my Romwe order and then the nail varnishes I used to paint my toe nails. Last photo of the first row is from the very late meal I had on Saturday, or should I say Sunday? You can also see some of my notes for my last post, a Sigma brushes review and then a photo of my coloured pencils before starting to draw. Last but not least we have a photo of what I decided to draw with my coloured pencils.

Ever since I started watching beauty videos on YouTube, two-three years ago, people have been talking about Sigma makeup brushes. But with so many Sigma affiliates out there, how can we be sure that they are actually worth the hype? No need to worry my dears, for I will be reviewing eight brushes that I have own for a long time and trust me I will be 100% honest, as I am not an affiliate of the brand. (Any links in this post are the normal links to the sigma website.)

Small Contour - F05: I was a bit disappointed when I first tried this brush. I thought it would have been better, because some of my favourite youtube, beauty gurus were using and recommending it. I expected it to be softer and to blend the colour better, like my F40 brush. When I used it to contour my cheeks, I felt the need to use another brush to blend it out, as this wasn't very good at it. But it works fine when using a light hand. Also, this sheds when washing and using. In addition, from the first wash, it colourised the water blue, and up until now that happens, but in a very minor manner. I've also noticed this with other brushes, like the F50 Duo Fibre brush that sort of lightly stained the white bristles blue. I don't see myself using this very often and with all honesty I don't recommend it.

Foundation - F60: I haven't use this in a very long time, basically because I dislike it. I hated applying my LR Foundation with this, as it wouldn't blend nicely on my nose. I have tried using it with cream highlighter and it wasn't an impressive application. To be honest, I used this today to apply my BB Cream, for this blog post, and it wasn't as bad as I remembered. I just don't enjoy using it, and you have to blend well so you avoid the brush stroke effect

Round Top Kabuki - F82: This is a brilliant brush, that I've loved from its very first use. Very dense, blends foundation, BB cream, powder like a dream. I find it to be my best choice when it comes to apply my base. For some lazy days I've used it to blend my concealer, too. Because of the thickness and density of this brush it's a bit tricky with cleaning.

Large Angled Contour - F40: Here's another brush I really like. Soft, fluffy and white. Well, more of a light ivory colour, to be exact. I have a weak spot for white brushes. I love it to apply bronzer and contour or to blend my blusher. Most of the time, I don't apply my blusher with this as I find it a bit big for my face and I always end up applying too much, unless it's a light colour. Today I tried this with a light pink blush and it was lovely, so I wouldn't recommend to use it with a dark and very pigmented colour.
